Clinton Morgan – Wind Tech Lawyer

Before becoming an attorney, Clinton worked inside some of the most complex and hazardous industrial environments in the country. He worked as a wind technician and received certifications from one of the world’s largest wind turbine manufacturers, giving him direct knowledge of turbine systems, field operations, maintenance practices, and the hazards wind technicians face on the job.
Clinton later worked as a wind farm facility manager for one of the nation’s largest wind farm operations companies, where he gained hands-on experience with wind farm operations, contractor management, maintenance planning, lockout/tagout procedures, fall hazards, electrical hazards, heavy equipment risks, and the safety systems that are supposed to protect workers.
After working as a facility manager, Clinton moved into safety management roles for one of the nation’s largest wind farm owners and for one of the largest oil companies in the world. In those roles, he managed safety in high-risk industrial environments and developed a deep understanding of how companies are supposed to identify hazards, train workers, enforce safety procedures, manage contractors, investigate incidents, and prevent serious injuries.
Clinton’s background also includes investigating serious workplace accidents for one of the world’s largest oil companies. That experience gives him a detailed understanding of how major companies evaluate incidents, identify root causes, review safety failures, preserve evidence, interview witnesses, and determine whether policies, procedures, training, supervision, or management decisions contributed to an injury. Today, he uses that knowledge to help injured workers and their families uncover what happened and hold the responsible parties accountable.

Clinton attended law school after gaining invaluable experience from a fifteen-year nonlegal professional career spanning across multiple industries. During his career, Clinton developed skills and experience that set him apart as a personal injury attorney.
The most notable of which is training and experience investigating workplace accidents. Clinton’s final role before attending law school was as a Safety Manager for one of the largest oil and gas companies in the world. In this role, he was tasked with investigating the most serious of workplace accidents. Clinton uses this unique training and experience to better advocate for his clients.
During law school, Clinton clerked for the Honorable Justice Jane Bland in the First Court of Appeals of Texas and a personal injury law firm in Houston, TX. This experience gave Clinton vital legal experience. In addition to these clerkships, during law school, Clinton gained invaluable experience as a volunteer counseling Texans who could not afford to hire an attorney. Clinton volunteered over 150 hours during his law school career serving people who could not afford legal representation.
Clinton graduated Summa Cum Laude from South Texas College of Law Houston. He is licensed and admitted to practice law in all Texas State Courts and the United States District Court Southern District of Texas.
Stephany M. Simien
